
PROVIDENCE – A former Santander Bank employee has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $125,000 from an account of a 78-year-old customer with dementia, the office of U.S. District Attorney for Rhode Island said Wednesday. Carlos Bras, 41, of East Providence, pleaded guilty in federal court to charges of mail fraud and aggravated identity theft.
