PROVIDENCE – Bancorp Rhode Island Inc. (Nasdaq: BARI), the parent of Bank Rhode Island, announced Friday that independent-proxy advisory firm Glass Lewis & Co. has recommended shareholders vote for the corporation’s full slate of nominees to the BancorpRI board of directors.
The election is to take place at the corporation’s annual meeting next Wednesday, May 16.
The Glass Lewis recommendation echoes that issued by Institutional Shareholder Services, the nation’s other leading corporate governance advisory firm. (READ MORE)
