The Board of Directors of Y.O.U., Inc. has appointed Ms. Elizabeth “Beth” Folcarelli PhD, ABD, MS as the new President and CEO of Y.O.U., Inc., effective June 1, 2012. Ms. Folcarelli will replace founding CEO Maurice J. Boisvert, who is retiring after a 41-year career with the agency.

Ms. Folcarelli most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO) Northeast, for Fellowship Health Resources, Inc., Lincoln, RI, and is in the dissertation phase of her Doctor of Philosophy, Organization and Management program at Capella University, Minneapolis, MN. Ms. Folcarelli is a lifelong resident of Rhode Island and presently lives in Glocester.

At Fellowship Health Resources, Ms. Folcarelli was responsible for all aspects of Northeast operations, which encompassed the following geographies: Fall River, New Bedford, and Cape and Islands, Massachusetts; Rhode Island; and Maine. In her capacity as COO, Ms. Folcarelli was responsible for the following: service quality; health and safety; licensing and accreditation; fiscal and clinical risk management; financial planning and implementation; and stakeholder relations. Her duties included oversight of 38 sites/programs, where she managed a budget of $17 million, and directed a staff of approximately 300 employees. Prior to her work at Fellowship, Ms. Folcarelli served as a senior member of the staff at Family Service Association of Greater Fall River as its Director of Quality Management and Assistant to the CEO.

In making the announcement, Y.O.U., Inc. Board President Michael Keegan remarked that “Beth has an outstanding track record of working collaboratively with clinical and program staff, and she’s built exceptional working relationships with funding partners including the Department of Mental Health. We’re confident that Beth brings the vital mix of operations management and organizational development expertise to the table, and we’re excited to welcome her as the new leader of the agency.”
