GOP Leadership Council names R.I. co-captains

WASHINGTON – The Republican Leadership Council today announced it has named Greg Nedwetzky of Westerly and Suzi Conklin Nance of Middletown to serve as the group’s Rhode Island state co-captains.
Nedwetzky has been active in state and national politics, most recently as a volunteer for U.S. Sen. Lincoln D. Chafee’s 2006 re-election campaign.A member of Operation Clean Government and the Rhode Island Wind Energy Alliance, he serves on the boards of the WARM Shelter and Stand Up for Animals.
Nance has been active in state and local politics and the Republican Party since about seven years ago, when she won a seat on the Middletown Town Council. A member of the Republican Women’s Federation, she been a campaign worker for both Chafee and Gov. Donald L. Carcieri.
