SOUTH KINGSTOWN – Green Line Apothecary LLC, an independent pharmacy and soda fountain, will move into an expanded site at 245 Main St., in the village of Wakefield.

The company, owned by Christina and Ken Procaccianti, employs 70 people at its two locations.

In addition to the original store in Wakefield, the company has an apothecary in Providence and provides statewide delivery services.

Renovation of the new headquarters was designed by Lineage Corp., according to a news release. The new location will allow Green Line to double its pharmacy and retail space and create a new drive-thru pickup service. The soda fountain will move as well, and more indoor seating and a takeout window will be created, as well as outdoor seating and a medicinal herb garden.

The site is the former location of South County Motors Inc., which closed last year when its owners retired.
