Hasbro Children’s Hospital and Citadel Broadcasting Providence announced that the third “Cure Kids Cancer” radiothon raised $855,000 for pediatric cancer treatment and research at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
“On behalf of the hospital, I’d like to thank the community for their tremendous generosity and the support that they have once again shown for our young cancer patients and their families,” said Dr. Joseph Amaral, president and CEO of Rhode Island Hospital and its Hasbro Children’s Hospital. “The funds raised at the Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon have helped us provide the best care close to home.
