PAWTUCKET – Hasbro Inc. was named among the 2019 Working Mother Best 100 Companies, the company announced Wednesday.
It was the first time the company made the list. The company said it offers a minimum of 10 fully paid weeks of maternity leave, a phase-back or reduced-hour program to returning new mothers, backup child care and care for sick children.
The awards were based on answers from applications, which include more than 400 questions on leave policies, workforce representation, benefits, child care, advancement programs and flexibility policies, among other things.
“Hasbro is committed to making the world a better place for children and their families, starting with our employees,” said Hasbro Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Dolph Johnson. “We are proud to be recognized for the first time by Working Mother and believe in creating a healthy, supportive work environment by giving employees the flexibility and resources to fit their diverse needs.”
