“That has been a focus of ours to better help our team members prepare for the long term,” said Megan Herne, Cooley Group’s director of human resources and social responsibility.
The Pawtucket-based manufacturer’s new artificial intelligence financial-wellness program, MoniWell, texts financial advice and tips tailored to employees’ ages and stages of career.
It’s Cooley Cares’ latest cutting-edge prevention strategy in prize-filled programming targeting physical, mental, charitable and social wellness for more than 15 years.
Annual money rewards motivate employees: up to $250 for gym memberships; $150 or four hours paid time off for completing yearly doctor’s checkups; up to $300 for various healthy activities; and a day off for completing a perennial favorite – semiannual six-week walking challenges.
“The feelings around the stress of money and the stress of getting the right health care, that’s global – that’s why we’ve created these programs,” Herne said.
