WESTERLY – Westerly-based Heartlab, Inc. and Toshiba Corporation, Medical Systems Company have entered into an agreement under which Toshiba will distribute Heartlab’s Encompass cardiac network in Japan. The Heartlab Encompass products will be marketed in Japan under the name CardioAgent. Heartlab’s Encompass family of review stations, image archives and network management software is currently being distributed by Toshiba, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of medical imaging systems, for integration with the Infinix (a line of vascular X-ray cardiac catheter labs) single- and bi-plane systems in the U.S. The result is a turnkey, seamless system for every step of the cardiac imaging process.
