
PROVIDENCE – A colonial revival home in the East Side neighborhood has sold for $2.5 million, the highest sale for the neighborhood in 2018.

It was built by manufacturer George Parks for his wife, and later sold to another jewelry manufacturer, Englehart Ostby, who died on the Titanic, according to a property description.
The property in College Hill was one of 34 on the East Side that sold for more than $1 million last year, according to Residential Properties Ltd., which listed it. The buyer’s representative was RE/MAX On The Move.
The last listed owner in property records was Mary W. C. Daly Trustee. Daly bought the property in 2008 for $2.3 million.
The buyers were Michael T. Napolitano and Anne M. Ruggieri.
