Hospital receives corporate gifts for expansion

The Women & Infants Hospital ONWARD Capital Campaign received its first corporate gift of $300,000 from Bank of America. The campaign will help fund an expansion of the hospital, including a state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and the addition of inpatient obstetric rooms. The gift was followed by a flood of corporate response, including a $200,000 gift from the Textron Charitable Trust.

Howes, Women & Infants’ president and CEO. “It is a testament to their generosity and their partnership with Women & Infants’ to help transform health care in southern New England.”
