While many schools were closed on Monday, March 4, as a result of the winter storm that hit the area, most businesses seemed to be up and running, even though many streets in Providence were not well plowed well into the commute time. Does your office take a hard line on working during a storm, or does it grant its employees a certain amount of flexibility to deal with the effects of such a weather occurrence (for instance, arranging child care for children who are not able to attend school)?
