IGT signs contract extension with Arizona Lottery to print instant tickets

PROVIDENCE – Gaming-machine and lottery company International Game Technology PLC has signed a one-year contract extension with the Arizona Lottery, IGT announced in a news release.

IGT will continue printing Arizona’s instant tickets. It’s the third extension for the contract, signed in 2010 with five one-year extension options as part of the deal.

“IGT values our longstanding relationship with the Arizona Lottery and looks forward to continuing to deliver high-quality instant games,” said Jay Gendron, IGT chief operating officer of Lottery.

IGT, which has been linked with the Arizona Lottery since 1984, also manages the Lottery’s warehouse and distribution divisions, including vending machines, the news release said. It’s also used IGT innovations in games, such as Crossword Connect games and others.

“In 2017, the Arizona Lottery saw great success with the $5 Wheel of Fortune game, which sold extremely well and aided in generating funds for the Lottery’s good causes,” Gendron said.
