NORTH KINGSTOWN – Retail Business Services, a services company of Ahold Delhaize USA, has launched its Infinity Fresh Kitchen operation in the Quonset Business Park, the company announced Wednesday.

The facility, which is run by Taylor Farms California Inc., already employs roughly 250 workers. Ahold Delhaize purchased the facility from Taylor Farms in July for an undisclosed sum.

The facility began operations Tuesday and began distributing products Wednesday.

“We’re proud to officially open our doors and begin production,” said Roger Wheeler, president of Retail Business Services, in a statement. “This facility is an integral part of our business and will help us provide our grocery retail partners and their customers with innovative, fresh, convenient items that surprise and delight. We’re also proud to now officially be part of the North Kingstown community. Our team has already been out volunteering at the Rhode Island Community Food Bank, and we look forward to continuing to engage.”

The facility is located at 320 Commerce Park Road. It produces products such as pasta salads, sandwiches, wraps, and other deli and grab-and-go items. The company said the facility will begin to produce fresh-cut fruit and vegetables in 2020. The facility will also feature a “Culinary Innovation Center” that is scheduled to launch in 2020.
