THE SUCCESS OF Pawtucket-based Arden Building Cos., according to CEO Robert Bolton, can be largely attributed to its investment in the construction firm’s employees, “whether that is in the form of hiring the right person, constant training or providing a healthy workplace environment.”
The COVID-19 pandemic has presented some challenges to the company. But, with its response of modified offices, remote working, contact tracing, having personal protective equipment and safety awareness, Arden managed to step up in a time of crisis.
“We are extremely proud to have been a part of the Dimeo [Construction Co.] team building out the three COVID-19 emergency hospitals here in Rhode Island,” Bolton said.
Looking toward the future, Bolton predicts the outlook for construction will be very challenging.
“However, with every crisis, opportunities do emerge,” Bolton said. “We will be looking for possible acquisitions to strengthen our electrical and mechanical service businesses in the New England area.”
