Similar to previous and most successful Summer Transitional Projects, the JAYCEES and special-needs kids will be conducting regular horticultural development activities at the award-winning JAYCEE Corridor & Arboretum in West Warwick.
Volunteers are always welcome!
Basically, patience, close supervisory attention and kindly instructions with modest oversight for a few hours (i.e. 9:30 am ~ noon) is needed. The JAYCEES and qualified volunteers will be interacting with selected recruits (special-needs young adults) from the Transitional School Service Program, to facilitate their pre-employment skill development.
These outdoor sessions will be held every Wednesday morning for six weeks at the award-winning JAYCEE Corridor & Arboretum in West Warwick.

From Route I-95 North:
Take Exit 11 (also marked as Route I-295 North)
Take Exit 1 to Route 113 West
Turn left at Route 2 South and drive for approximately .7 of a mile
Turn right on to Route 115 West
Follow Route 115/W on Providence Street for approximately two miles
Continue on Route 115, take right before Royal Mills Rotary (Red Caboose)
Access Hay Street 500 feet – turn right into Riverpoint COMMUNITY Park
