Kayak company drawing people to Providence River, livening up the downtown

The three businesspeople who know the most about the Providence River as it courses through the downtown came to the same conclusion a few years ago: it needs more life. Providence Kayak Co., created in 2017, brought together the people behind the Providence River Boat Co. and La Gondola Providence Inc., two established, river-based businesses.
