Large solar farm completed on capped Coventry landfill

COVENTRY – A solar project built on a capped Arnold Road landfill that is estimated to power more than 1,100 homes is now finished, the town and its developers announced Tuesday.  The town’s landfill solar project, which is a joint effort with Ameresco Inc. and Luminance, will add 5.730 megawatts to the region’s grid and generate approximately 7.7 million kilowatts annually,
