Robert Crossley, CEO of the East Bay Center, formerly the East Bay Mental Health Center, will speak at the weekly meeting of the Executives Association of RI on Tuesday, June 17th from noon to 1:30 at the Radisson Hotel, Post Road, Warwick. 

Crossley will talk about the history of the mental health service system, from the time of deinstitutionalization in RI, to the establishment of community mental health centers.  He will also discuss accessing the mental health and substance abuse systems for businesses in need of services for their employees.  The state’s current crisis in drug overdose will also be highlighted.

Crossley will highlight the specific services provided by EBC to the East Bay communities of East Providence, Bristol, Barrington and Warren.  They also serve the entire state of RI and surrounding communities of Massachusetts.

On Thursday, September 18th, EBC will host, “Celebrate!  An Evening on the East Bay” at Blithewold in Bristol, with funds supporting its programs and services for the local community.

The Executives Association of RI is the state’s oldest business leads group.
