MARTHA MERRIWETHER, the lead for data-program management for Naval Undersea ­Warfare Center Division Newport, was recently awarded a U.S. Navy Meritorious Civilian Service Award in a special ceremony at NUWC’s headquarters in Newport. The award is the third-highest presented by the Navy recognizing services that resulted in high value or benefits to the military branch.
