East Side sells for $1.6M

PROVIDENCE – A custom home built in 1959 with seven bedrooms, four full bathrooms and nearly 7,000 square feet of interior space has sold for $1.6 million, the fourth-largest in Providence this year.

The sale of 309 Freeman Parkway closed on Nov. 30. Jim DeRentis, a sales associate with Residential Properties Ltd. was the list agent. Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage represented the buyer.

The house abuts Blackstone Boulevard and has been renovated with a new kitchen and an open-plan living room, dining room and family room. It features a terrace and garden.
