Minnesota State Lottery upgrading to Warwick company’s gemIntelligence software

WARWICK – The Minnesota State Lottery has upgraded to Lapis Software Associates LLC’s lottery sales force automation software, gemIntelligence.
The Minnesota State Lottery sought a partnership in which the Lottery could create a “state-of-the-art multi-channel, player-centric business model,” Lapis said. The lottery had been using an internally developed sales force automation system, and will upgrade to gemIntelligence.
“Our overall goal is to continue improving our systems to support more agile innovation. gemIntelligence will help us do that for our sales force automation and increasing our support for our retailers,” Ed Van Petten, Minnesota State Lottery executive director, said in a statement.
gemIntelligence, according to Lapis, provides lotteries and their retailers with office and mobile software applications, including real time information.
“The Minnesota State Lottery is known for its innovation. We really look forward to working with the Lottery because gemIntelligence was designed to be a customizable and flexible platform to support emerging best practices,” Jean Lombard, Lapis Software Associates president, said.
