Mohamad Farzan of NewPort Architecture named Upjohn Fellow

(Washington, DC) The American Institute of Architects (AIA) recently named Mohamad Farzan, AIA, RIBA, a Richard Upjohn Fellow. Mickey Jacob, current AIA President, presented the honor.

The Richard Upjohn Fellowship is an honor reserved for members of the AIA who have served on the Institute’s National Board of Directors, and who are dedicated to advancing the profession of architecture. Farzan finished a three-year term representing the New England Region for the 83,000-member organization.  

Farzan is a founding Principal of NewPort Architecture in Newport, RI, specializing in residential, commercial, and institutional design.
