NORTH KINGSTOWN – Hexagon Meteorology Inc. has signed a strategic-partnership agreement with Morris Group Inc., a supplier of Computer Numeric Control machine tools and other engineering services. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Under the terms of the agreement, six distribution divisions of Windsor, Conn.-based Morris Group will become authorized sellers of Hexagon products. The divisions include 10 regional offices that cover 24 states.

Angus Taylor, Hexagon’s president and CEO, said the new impetus for the new deal came from Hexagon’s realization that it needed to expand its distribution network.
“We are extremely pleased to add Morris Group to our North American distribution network,” Taylor said in a statement. “Their competence in the industrial market and geographic coverage are an ideal complement to our existing network.”
