Gov. Gina M. Raimondo and Pawtucket Mayor Donald R. Grebien announced that a $400 million development project that includes a soccer stadium is planned for the city’s waterfront. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported the first vaping-related death in Rhode Island. The person who died was in their 70s, according to the R.I. Department of Health.
