Museum of Work & Culture celebrates 2 decades with new digital exhibit

WOONSOCKET – The Museum of Work & Culture, a Rhode Island Historical Society museum, will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a gala on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Woonsocket-based museum.

During the evening festivities the museum will unveil a new digital exhibit – “Mills Along the Blackstone: Locally made, internationally known” – showcasing the evolution of the city’s textile industry.

Tickets for the black-tie-optional event range from $75 to $125 per person. There will be a VIP reception at 5:30 p.m. followed by the gala at 6:30. Black and white attire is encouraged throughout the event.

River Falls Restaurant, Ciro’s Tavern, Kay’s Restaurant, Quik Stop Deli, Wright’s Dairy Farm & Bakery, and Olly’s Pizzeria & Mediterranean Cuisine will provide the evening’s food while the Classic Five Jazz Quintet entertain guests.
