Nail inks deals with A.T. Cross, Vibram

PROVIDENCE – Local multimedia marketing firm Nail Communications Inc. this month announced that it had landed two new clients.

A. T. Cross, the Lincoln-based maker of personal and business accessories, has chosen Nail to redesign its online store and provide other digital marketing services. Nail will work on the project with Wendy Duncan, Cross’ online marketing and channel manager.

The new A. T. Cross site is scheduled to launch early next year, said Jeremy Crisp, managing partner at Nail.

Separately, Vibram USA, which makes soles for shoes, has tapped Nail to assist with the launch of a new version of the FiveFingers shoe, which Nail described as “looking at bit like a glove for one’s feet” and said is popular with people who run barefoot.

Concord, Mass.-based Vibram will have Nail create a “micro-site” about barefoot running as part of the marketing push for the new product, which is scheduled to debut in March.

Financial terms of the two deals were not disclosed. Nail’s other clients include Evergreen Solar Inc., W. L. Gore & Associates Inc.’s Gore-Tex brand and Segway Inc.
