Major General Stephen R. Seiter, USA (Ret.), a resident of Newport, Rhode Island was elected Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Naval War College Foundation at the Foundation’s recent annual members meeting held at the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island. General Seiter is a graduate of the University of Washington where he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration.

 

General Seiter served as Commanding General of the New York Army National Guard after 38 years of uniformed service, retiring in 2004. In civilian life, he was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Seiter & Miller Advertising Inc., in New York City. Currently, General Seiter is CEO and owner of Park Place Holdings, LLC, Portsmouth, RI, a classic automobile restoration and storage of enterprise.
