What three words best describe your staff? Dedicated, caring, resilient.
What fun activities does your company offer employees to participate in? We do raffles and giveaways: daily/weekly ticket giveaways (concerts, sporting events), large ticket items raffled at all employee meetings (TVs, extra vacation week, major concert tickets, etc.); wellness day: including health screenings, vendors and raffles (fitbit, gym equipment, nutribullet, etc.) Also, team leaders are encouraged to host team-building events such as game nights, potlucks, dinners out, Block Island getaways and a dinner at a team member’s home.
What role does diversity, equity and inclusion play in your hiring and promotion decisions? The values of diversity and equality are a guiding force behind our hiring practices, our philanthropic efforts, and the lending products and programs we offer to our members.
How do you support community service work by your employees? We have an internal committee called V-Force, which organizes volunteer outings for employees. These outings give employees an opportunity to get away from the office for a time and give back to the communities we serve.
