New labs at Salve Regina offer education in nursing, forensics

WARWICK – Salve Regina University will open an advanced-practice nursing lab and a digital forensics lab next month at its Center for Adult Education in Warwick.

The nursing lab simulates a clinical environment where students learn through patient-care simulations meant to hone critical-thinking skills. With the use of the lab, instructors combine didactic learning with crucial skills practice.

The digital forensics lab will train students for hands-on work using computers and mobile devices. Students may earn certification as Cellebrite operators or physical analysts, which can be used in both public- and private-sector investigations.

The new labs join numerous other labs and classrooms at Salve Regina’s Warwick campus.
