Unique loft lifestyle hotel set to re-open in August after Rhode Island’s historic floods of 2010

WARWICK, Rhode Island (July 25, 2011) – NYLO Hotels has announced a new leadership team for NYLO Providence/Warwick, which is set to reopen in August 2011 following Rhode Island’s historic floods in March 2010. The hotel has named Kingston, RI resident Susan Shaw, General Manager; North Kingstown, RI resident Joanne McNulty Schroeder, Director of Sales & Marketing; Providence, RI, resident Robert Minger, Director of Food & Beverage; Providence, RI resident Jenna Cowan, Front Office Manager; and Boston resident, Allan Thompson, Controller.

In their new positions, Shaw will oversee all operations of the hotel, including sales and marketing, front of the house, and food and beverage, and Schroeder will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities for leisure, business and group travel at NYLO Providence/Warwick.
Meanwhile, as Director of Food & Beverage, Minger will oversee operations at NYLO’s one-of-a-kind restaurant and bar, The Loft, including menu development, staff recruitment and training.
As Front Office Manager, Cowan will be responsible for the coordination of front office operations, management of concierge and guest services, and ensuring guest satisfaction, and as Controller, Thompson will be responsible for the day-to-day accounting duties of the hotel, including daily revenue, income, and market segment reports; billing; invoice processing; payroll; and hiring paperwork.
