NORTH KINGSTOWN – Initially planned to conclude on Dec. 5, Ocean State Job Lot has chosen to extend its first-ever Choose, Give, Get donation program through Christmas Eve on Dec. 24.
“Our inaugural Choose, Give, Get program has been greeted with such enthusiasm that we have made the decision to not only extend the program through Dec. 24 but to match [each customer donation] up to $1 million,” said David Sarlitto, Ocean State Job Lot Charitable Foundation executive director, in a statement.
Customers who participate in the program are asked to choose one of eight causes supported through the OSJL Charitable Foundation, give to said cause and if they donate $50 or more in increments of $50, they will receive the amount of their donation in an Ocean State Job Lot gift card.
Groups supported during the Choose, Give, Get drive include organizations committed to helping the military and veterans, the hungry, child welfare, health care, education, animal welfare, the performing arts, and homelessness.
