PROVIDENCE – Rhode Island’s largest accounting firm, Kahn, Litwin, Renza & Co. Ltd., on Tuesday elected Paul Oliveira as its CEO effective January 2023.
Oliveira succeeds Alan H. Litwin, who announced on Nov. 4 he would retire at the end of the year after four decades with the firm.
“I’m thrilled to lead the firm in this next stage and continue building on our success,” Oliveira said. “My goal is to continue to expand on our world-class client service and our commitment to growing our team. I am proud to lead such talented, dedicated professionals who work every day to service our clients.”
Oliveira joined KLR in 2004. He currently serves as the managing office partner in Boston, and on the KLR Executive Committee and Operations Committee. He previously led KLR’s Tax Practice Group, which he expanded while achieving impressive revenue growth and profitability. Oliveira also served as co-chairman of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Practice Group.
In addition to his public accounting experience, Oliveira spent nine years in private industry. He received a Bachelor of Science in business administration and a Master of Science in taxation from Bryant University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Rhode Island Society of Certified Public Accountants.
