Pare Corp. awarded for work on University Hall project at UMass Boston

BOSTON – Pare Corp., which has offices in Lincoln and Foxboro, Mass., recently received a Bronze Engineering Excellence Award from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts, for its work on the University Hall project at University of Massachusetts Boston.

The $130 million project includes 190,000 square feet of interior space. The building includes nearly 2,000 student seats, a 500-seat auditorium, a 150-seat recital hall, labs for the art and chemistry departments, and a café, student lounges and faculty offices.

Pare was responsible for design and construction-phase services related to site, civil, traffic and environmental permitting. The architect is Wilson Architects. The construction manager is Gilbane Building Co.
