PBN announces 40 Under Forty winners

PROVIDENCE – Providence Business News has chosen the 2009 class of its annual 40 Under Forty program, to be honored at a July 30 event at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport.

The 40 Under Forty – which honors young professionals, as well as business and nonprofit leaders – recognizes recipients based on career success, community involvement and a commitment to making a difference.

This year’s list was drawn from more than 120 applicants. The winners will be profiled in the August 3-9 print edition of Providence Business News.

This year also is the fifth annual competition. To mark the occasion, PBN is creating a 40 Under Forty Hall of Fame, with the first class to be inducted at the Newport gathering, to which all previous winners have been invited.
