MIDDLETOWN – People’s Credit Union recently elected several members to its board of directors and supervisory committee.
Frank Newsome was appointed for a two-year term; John Trifero was appointed to a three-year term; Timothy J. DelGiudice was appointed for a three-year term; and Steven Kozlowski will serve a one-year term.

Newsome is a behavioral specialist at Rogers High School. He is also employed by Hazard’s Beach as a manager. He graduated from Eckerd College and received a bachelor’s degree in history and sociology. Newsome was a head football coach at Rogers for 24 years. He is also an active community volunteer.
Trifero is a Realtor with RE/MAX Professionals of Newport. He retired from the Naval Undersea Warfare Center as a technical project manager for network engineering and information technology security. He serves on the board of directors of the Norman Bird Sanctuary, Innovate Newport, and is a Newport Hospital corporator. Trifero formerly served on the People’s Credit Union board of directors and supervisory committee. And he is a former Newport mayor and a former member of the Newport Planning Board. He received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics/education from Providence College.
DelGiudice is a member of the government relations team at RTX Corp., formerly Raytheon Technologies, and is a site leader at the company’s Portsmouth site. He also serves as the chairman of the Southeastern New England Defense Industry Alliance board of directors and as a member of the New England Council, Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council, and the Undersea Technologies Innovation Consortium board of directors.
Kozlowski is an associate professor of finance at Fairfield University’s Dolan School of Business. He teaches investments at the undergraduate level and research methods in finance at the graduate level. He previously worked as a district examiner for the National Credit Union Administration.
