Dare to Dream Ranch Inc., a Foster-based nonprofit that supports military veterans, will hold its third annual Yellow Ribbon Denim and Diamonds Gala on Saturday, Sept. 28, from 5:30-10:30 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Providence-Warwick, 801 Greenwich Ave., Warwick. The Cuddles of Hope Foundation will hold its fourth annual Car Show Fundraiser on Sunday, Sept. 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Overlook at Meehan, 2 Governor Notte Parkway, Bldg. 3, North Providence. The Brain Injury Association of Rhode Island will hold its ninth annual Hidden Treasures Gala on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 6 p.m. at the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, 60 Rhodes Place, Cranston. The event will feature culinary delights from more than 25 of the area’s chefs, live music and auction items. Bowling for books

College support

Rhode Island College will hold its inaugural gala, celebrating the inauguration of President Jack R. Warner, on Friday, Nov. 15, starting at 5:30 p.m. at the recreation center at the college, 600 Mount Pleasant Ave., Providence.
