“If we’re going to serve our community effectively, we have to take care of ourselves first,” said Peter Church, chief people and culture officer for the parent company of Harvard-Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan.

One target increasingly in Point32Health’s sights since 2020 – and as important as CPR, Church said – is improving mental and emotional well-being through resilience.

Helping accomplish this in a workforce spanning five generations is the no-cost, data-driven meQuilibrium – meQ for short – introduced Oct. 10 on World Mental Health Day.

MeQ analyzes psychometric data to identify potential and predominant sources of stress, fatigue and burnout. Point32Health then provides campaigns encouraging open and flexible thinking from employees to overcome and thrive.

Another initiative boosting positive attitudes is Point32Health’s Gratitude Platform, in which employees connect virtually with colleagues to celebrate life events.

A HEALTHY THOUGHT: ‘Our purpose is to guide and empower healthier lives … fostering an inclusive culture.’
