BRISTOL – A waterfront home on Poppasquash Neck recently sold for $4.3 million, marking the highest sale in the town since March 2025, according to Residential Properties Ltd., citing data from the Rhode Island Statewide Multiple Listing Service.
The 33 Courageous Circle property is a single-family home with 4,148 square feet of living space, three bedrooms and three bathrooms, including two full bathrooms and one half-bath.

Built in 1988, the home sits on a 3.67-acre waterfront parcel in a private community off Courageous Circle, according to the real estate firm.
The first floor includes the primary suite, which has a study and access to a porch overlooking the water, the real estate firm said. The kitchen was designed by Clive Christian, and the home features floor-to-ceiling windows and a marble fireplace.
Two additional bedrooms are located on the second floor, each with French doors leading to a deck with views of Narragansett Bay, according to Residential Properties. The second floor also has a full bathroom and two dedicated storage rooms. The partially finished lower level extends across the width of the house and includes an exercise room, workshop and additional storage, according to Residential Properties.
Outside, the property includes a private beach, patio and multiple decks, the real estate firm said. The property also has an attached three-car garage and is located on a cul-de-sac.
The property had a 2025 total assessment of $3.6 million, consisting of nearly $1.9 million for the land and $1.7 million for the building, according to the Bristol property assessor’s database.
Kerri Payne of Residential Properties represented the buyer, while Tery Pedro-Matrone of William Raveis Inspire represented the seller, according to the listing.
The property was sold by Karen Kestenberg of Bristol, according to the warranty deed, and purchased by Steven Melo and Kimberly Melo of Swansea.
