PROVIDENCE – Providence Business News is seeking candidates for its Chief Financial Officers awards program.

Applicants must be a top financial executive of their company or divisional office – CFO, comptroller/controller, vice president of finance, treasurer, etc. – in Rhode Island and Bristol County, Mass. Self-nominations are accepted; deadline for applications is Feb. 24.

The categories are:
Private companies

  • Large (more than 150 employees)
  • Mid-size (75-150 employees)
  • Small (fewer than 75 employees)

    Public companies with local:

  • Corporate headquarters
  • Divisional offices

    Nonprofits

  • Social services, charities and foundations
  • Higher education, health care, other

    Government and quasi-government

    PBN is also accepting nominations for a Lifetime Achievement Award to include those who have extensive experience as a top financial officer but may not currently hold a CFO position.

    Winners will be announced early March and honored at the CFO awards luncheon on March 31 at the Providence Biltmore.
