Providence Center awarded 3-year accreditation

PROVIDENCE – The Providence Center announced recently that it has been accredited for three years by the Council for Accreditation of Rehabilitative Facilities International, an independent, nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote the quality, value and optimal outcome of services through the accreditation process.
The Providence Center’s accreditation covers its assertive community treatment, community housing, crisis intervention, intensive family-based services, intensive outpatient treatment, outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization, residential treatment, community services and employment services.
The center got the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization, it said in a news release. To receive that rating, it underwent a review process that included an on-site visit to demonstrate that its programs and services are of the highest quality, and are measurable and accountable.

The Council for Accreditation of Rehabilitative Facilities International – founded in 1966 as the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities – establishes consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality of programs and services.
