MIDDLETOWN – Purvis Systems Inc. says it has won a $24.1 million, five-year contract with the Naval Undersea Warfare Center.
The agreement – a “task order” for one base year and four optional years – was awarded as part of a multi-company deal between NUWC and a team headed by Rite Solutions Inc. of Pawcatuck, Conn.

It calls for Purvis to provide engineering, laboratory development, modeling and program management services to NUWC’s Sensors and Sonar Systems department. The company said it will be assisting with developmental and in-service undersea warfare programs.
