PROVIDENCE – The Quinlan Cos. today announced the acquisition of three warehouses, in Florida, Maryland and Texas, from ChartOne Inc. of Burlington, Mass.
The three warehouses add “significant square footage of records storage capacity, along with hundreds of new customers, to the company’s overall operations,” the news release said. Financial details were not disclosed, but the records-management firm said the terms included a partnership agreement between the two companies going forward.
“These are exciting times for The Quinlan Cos.,” CEO Michael Cooley said in a statement. “Not only do we now have the benefit of a great partnership with an industry leader like ChartOne, we are also in a position to expand our presence across the country.”
The agreement will allow ChartOne to continue to expand its presence in release of information (ROI) services and medical records workflow technology, the company said, while Quinlan expands its service area and market share.
“This acquisition will be a great platform for the continued evolution of our digital initiative that includes digital records, radiology and mammography,” Cooley said.
