PROVIDENCE – A Rhode Island eatery and chef have been named finalists for this year’s James Beard Awards. For the second-straight year, Derek Wagner of Nicks on Broadway at 500 Broadway in Providence is a finalist for Best Chef Northeast, while Loma at 112 Spruce St. in Providence was nominated for Best New Bar.
