R.I. monthly unemployment rises to 4.6% in February

CRANSTON – Rhode Island’s seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in February was 4.6%, up from 4.5% in January, the R.I. Department of Labor and Training said Thursday.  The U.S. unemployment rate was 4.4% in February, up from 4.3% in January, according to the DLT.  The Rhode Island jobless rate was 4.5% in February 2025, while the U.S.
