PROVIDENCE – U.S. Sen. Jack Reed, D-R.I., has announced $1.8 million in federal rental assistance for Rhode Island through the Housing Choice Voucher program. The voucher program, administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in partnership with public housing agencies, provides rental assistance to very low-income seniors, families, and individuals with disabilities.
