PROVIDENCE – Citizens Bank was ranked No. 2 of 318 companies in the 2018 Temkin Experience Ratings and was the highest-rated bank in the report, released last week.

Citizens received an 83 percent rating in the report. Wegmens, which earned the No. 1 spot, received 86 percent.

Ratings are based on consumer feedback of recent experiences with companies. Temkin has participants rate their experience with companies on “success, effort and emotion.”

“We are focused on delivering a great customer experience and on helping our customers reach their potential,” said Brad Conner, vice chairman and head of consumer banking at Citizens, in a statement. “To receive this top ranking from Temkin is a real honor and reflects well on the dedication of our Citizens colleagues and our approach to serving customers.”
