PROVIDENCE, R.I., July 25, 2017 – Restivo Monacelli LLP, an innovative tax, accounting and business advisory firm, announces its continued growth and expansion with the addition of five new hires.
Michael King, Lauren Cavaco and Yana Leonard joined the firm as Staff Accountants in the Accounting and Auditing Department. In this role, they are assisting Senior Managers and Partners in the preparation of audits, reviews, and compiled financial statements for clients across diverse industries.
Prior to Restivo Monacelli, Mr. King worked in Corporate Accounting for Staples Corporate Headquarters, in Framingham, Massachusetts. He earned his Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration from Providence College. Mr. King became a Certified Public Accountant in 2016. Ms. Cavaco received a Bachelors of Arts degree in Accounting and Business from Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire, where she graduated Cum Laude. Ms. Leonard earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting, Cum Laude, and Masters in Business Administration from Johnson & Wales University. In addition, she completed three internships as an internal audit assistant, property accounting intern and audit/tax intern.
Restivo Monacelli is also pleased to announce that Symantha Davies and Griffin Waitkus joined the firm as Staff Accountants in the Tax Department. Ms. Davies and Mr. Waitkus earned their Bachelors of Science degrees in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island. Both also successfully completed Restivo Monacelli’s internship program in May 2017, where they provided tax-related support for a diverse group of clients and assisted with the preparation of individual income tax returns, corporate and partnership tax returns, payroll tax returns and tax research projects.
