PROVIDENCE – Four Rhode Island businesses won 2017 Bell Ringer Awards, the Publicity Club of New England announced on Friday.
Duffy & Shanley won 10 Bell Ringer Awards on Thursday at the club’s annual awards dinner: one gold, two silver, six bronze awards and a merit award. Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems won a gold bell, JaiCG won a merit award and Wizards of the Coast won a merit award in conjunction with 360PR+.

JaiCG received a merit award for the category Placements and Content Single Item Division in Digital Video for “PVD.”
“The challenge was to create a short video for Grow Smart RI that highlighted smart growth principles in Providence, while also bringing to life its beauty, history and culture,” said Joseph Phommasith of JaiCG in a statement. “We’re grateful to represent Rhode Island, and be again recognized for work we’ve done about a place that we love and believe in.”
Hasbro Inc.’s Wizards of the Coast and Boston based 360PR+ won a merit award for Print or Digital Feature Article or Commentary Placement in a Trade Publication with “Dungeons & Dragons Moves Out of the Basement and into Pop-Culture, Wizards of the Coast with 360PR+.”
Raytheon Integrated Defense Systems won a gold bell award for Communications Campaigns Employee Communications Campaign for “Making Business Personal.”
Raytheon IDS’ campaign was nominated for the 2017 Platinum Super Bell award, which was won by Wayfair.
“The Bell Ringer Awards are a testament to the talent, creativity and vision of communications professionals across New England,” said Cheryl Gate, president of the Publicity Club of New England in a statement. “The work submitted for this year’s competition not only displayed innovative thinking, it also delivered meaningful, game-changing results on behalf of hundreds of clients.”
