WARWICK – The R.I. Airport Corporation has named aviation veteran Kevin A. Dillon to serve as the director of T.F. Green Airport. He will also serve as RIAC’s president and CEO.
Dillon replaces Peter A. Frazier, RIAC’s general counsel, who had been serving as interim president and CEO since Dec. 1, filling the gap left by the resignation of Mark P. Brewer. (READ MORE)
“The search for this position yielded a pool of very qualified candidates,” said Dr. Kathleen Hittner, chair of the RIAC board. “However, Kevin was the unanimous choice as a proven leader in the industry.”
Dillion’s résumé includes stints at some of the largest aviation organizations in the country, including the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, where he held senior-level positions at Kennedy International and LaGuardia Airports; the Mass. Port Authority (Massport), where he served as director of aviation operations for Logan Airport; Manchester Boston Regional Airport in New Hampshire, where he served as airport director; and Orlando International Airport, where he served for the past year as deputy executive director.
“This is a great hire for the Airport Corporation and the State of Rhode Island,” Gov. Donald L. Carcieri said in a statement. “We are fortunate to have someone with his qualifications oversee one of the most important state assets.”
